WEEE registration by EU country
A WEEE registration is valid in one country only. Tick the countries you ship electrical equipment to end users in. For each you see the register, the authorized representative rule, where the number must appear, and the source of every line.
2 countries picked: 2 separate registrations, 2 of them with a mandatory representative. A WEEE registration is valid only in the country that issued it.

Questions
Is my WEEE registration valid in other EU countries?
No. A WEEE registration is valid only in the country that issued it. A seller that ships directly to end users in another country is the producer there and registers in that country's national register.
Which countries require a WEEE authorized representative?
Of the countries in this check: Germany, Austria, France, Belgium and Croatia for foreign distance sellers, and Spain for sellers from other EU states. In Italy one is possible for producers from other EU states, and in the Netherlands it is not required.
Does the WEEE Directive apply in Switzerland?
No. Switzerland regulates electrical equipment under the VREG, with no register and no registration number. Disposal is funded through voluntary fees to SENS eRecycling or Swico Recycling.
How current is this?
Each country card names its source. Where it says "Not checked" we found no reliable source and show nothing. Check the register's own page before you register.
