Where do you ship?
The first step of any EPR plan: which countries do you really ship to, and how much? Drop your Shopify order export here. You see the countries of the last 12 months by orders and units, and for each one the obligations Assuro has data for.
The file is read only in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, including customer names and addresses.
What each country asks for is in EPR by country, and who needs a representative is in the packaging authorised representative guide. Dieses Werkzeug auf Deutsch öffnen.
Questions
Why count real shipping countries rather than Shopify Markets settings?
EPR duties arise where goods actually go. A market switched on in Shopify that you never shipped to triggers nothing. A country you shipped to through another route does.
Is my file uploaded?
No. Your browser reads the file and counts orders and units per shipping country. No request goes to any server, and customer names, emails and addresses are neither used nor stored.
Which orders are counted?
Cancelled orders are not. Refunded and unfulfilled orders are, and both are listed under the table so you can check them. The 12 months end on the newest order in the file.
From the country list to a declaration
In Assuro you import the same export into a packaging declaration for one country and period. There too the browser reads the file, and only the units per product for that country reach Assuro. Assuro also shows, per product, which registrations are missing in the countries you sell to.
Scanning is free. Writing data back into your Shopify products starts at $39 a month.
